You can view the details of the project by clicking on the respective project in the Project Listing page and then clicking on the Details tab.

 

 

The Details tab provides a comprehensive information on the project.

 

These are the two milestones set for the project.

 

You can add an independent task (not under any milestone). Please note: the option to add an independent task is also available towards the top section of the project details page.

 

This is the unique code given to the project.

 

It shows the current progress percentage of the project.

 

By clicking on this check box, you can view all the completed tasks set for this project.

 

Clicking on this will take you to the previous page.

 

You can edit the project and add notifications to it by clicking on the action drop down.

 

 

 

 

Milestone

Hovering the cursor on any of the milestones, show a few inline options.


You can change the order of the milestone by clicking on it and dragging it up or down.


You can view the tasks and sub tasks assigned under the milestone by clicking on any of the two icons.

 

You can add a new milestone to the project by clicking here.

 

You can add a new task under the milestone.

 

You can edit the milestone.


You can delete the milestone from the project.

 

 



Task


Clicking on any of the milestones, shows the tasks assigned under it.

 

 

Click here to open the section that shows the existing sub task and provides the option to add a new sub task.

 

Clicking on the check box beside the task will mark it as complete.

 

The task can be added to your favorites by clicking on .

 

The task can be followed by clicking on . By doing so, you will be able to receive all the task status change and updates in the feeds.

 

It shows the comments made to in relation to the task.

 

It shows the total number of hours given upon the task till now.

 

It shows that a sub task is assigned under the main task.

 

It shows the total number of employees assigned to the task.

 

It shows the deadline set for the task.

 

Clicking on Action drop down, you add sub task, time sheet, member and comments to the task.

 

 

By hovering the cursor on the task, you get the options of adding or viewing the current:

  • Member
  • Documents
  • Comments
  • Time sheet
  • Sub task
  • Followers
  • Tag. 

 

You can add a new sub task under the task.

 

You can edit the task.


You can delete the task from the milestone. 




Adding a Task


Fill in the name of the task.


Choose one of the priority options from the drop down.

 

Add in the resources to the task (i.e. the number of people who will work on it)

 

Set the cost type of the task - fixed or variable.

 

Click on the check-box if you want the task to get published in the calendar.

 

Show how far the task has been completed through the progress percentage.

 

Set the completion date (i.e. deadline) for the task.

 

Choose whether you want to keep the task billable or not.

 

Set the billing currency and amount.


Decide the number of hours that will be invested on the task.


Click on to add the task to the milestone. Or else, click on cancel.

 

 

 

 

 

Editing a Task



Give a new name to the task.

 

Change the priority of the task by choosing another option from the drop down.

 

Reselect the number of resources for the task.

 

Change the cost type of the task.


Publish or un-publish the task to the calendar.

 

Edit the existing progress percentage of the task.

 

Set a new completion deadline.

 

Change the billable option.

 

Set in the new billing currency and amount.

 

Edit the estimated target hours for the task.

 

Click on to apply the changes. Or else, click on cancel.

 

 





Sub task

Existing sub tasks under a task can be seen by hovering the cursor on the task and clicking on the sub task option.

 

 

 

Click on the check box beside the sub task to mark it as complete.

 

Click to add a new sub task to the list.

 

By clicking on the action drop down or hovering the cursor on the sub task, you get the options of adding or viewing the current:

  • Member
  • Timesheet
  • Comments

 

Click to edit the sub task.

 

 

Click to delete the sub task.

 

 

 

 

Adding a Sub Task


Give the name of the sub task.

 

Click to save the sub task.

 

Click to cancel the process of adding the sub task.

 

 

 

 

Editing a Sub Task

 

 

Give a new name to the sub task.

 

Edit the estimated target hours for the sub task.

 

Edit the existing progress percentage of the sub task.

 

Set a new completion deadline.

 

Click on to apply the changes. Or else, click on cancel.
